The Legend of the Mix Master (내가 전설의 용사) is the first episode of Mix Master: King of Cards. In this episode, Atreia and Gamebridge are combined, and Ditt discovers he is the Mix Master.
Summary
Ditt meets Pachi.
The episode starts with a shadowy creature jumping through the trees on Atreia. It cuts to the Dark Elves chasing this figure, who say they're going to catch the creature, for he is the Master Hench. While they argue amongst themselves, the shadowy creature leads them into a tree, which they all crash into. The shadowy creature escapes into the forest, uncaptured. Meanwhile, in the human world, Ditt is outside Dr. Joeb's laboratory, trying to get in. Ditt wonders why Joeb doesn't just have a door like a normal person, only for a robot to pop out of the wall and tell him "doors are obsolete" and that "he has to think outside of the box". An elevator pops out of the ground next to him, and Ditt walks onto it. In the lab, Dr. Joeb asks if cyberspace goes in a spiral to an unenthused Ditt, Penril and Cheek. While Dr. Joeb rambles about going inside your mind, Penril explains that Dr. Joeb is planning to make a portal to Atreia and go there. Ditt, naturally, is skeptical; how can you go to a world that doesn't exist? Dr. Joeb doesn't believe in the concept of reality, and says the creatures in Atreia are "starting to morph", and he wants to find out why. Dr. Joeb and the group stand in front of the portal and Dr. Joeb and his mechanical arms press buttons on the controls. A light appears out of the machine onto the portal. The light, however, fades away, and it appears the portal didn't work. The machine starts spewing smoke while Dr. Joeb frantically pushes buttons. The machine starts beeping, and the group starts panicking. Dr. Joeb somehow disappears, and just before the group can get away, the machine explodes. The group coughs and laughs over Dr. Joeb trying to make a portal to a world that doesn't exist. The camera pans out to reveal a blue creature laughing alongside them. Ditt and the creature look at each other, and stop laughing. Both the creature and Ditt run away, and Ditt asks how "that thing" got in. The creature is offended by Ditt calling him a "thing". The creature tells them that he's never seen creatures that look like them in Atreia. Ditt tells the creature Atreia doesn't exist, and the creature realizes he isn't in Atreia. Dr. Joeb pops out of the floor, and too wonders what the creature is. The creature reveals his name is Pachi, and that he's "very unique."
Gamebridge after being combined with Atreia.
Meanwhile, at Prince Brad's castle, the Dark Elves have to tell their master, Prince Brad that they don't have the Master Hench. Prince Brad berates them, and uses his magical orb to locate the Master Hench. The orb tells him the Master Hench is in another dimension, and he decides he's going to find a way to get to this other dimension. Back at the lab, Dr. Joeb and the gang examine Pachi. Cheek says that Pachi's a Hench, and searches for him with his database. Pachi, however, doesn't have a card, and doesn't fit into any category. Pachi and Ditt argue, and Pachi says he wants to go back to Atreia, since they "love him there". Ditt quips that there's a price on Pachi's head, and lo and behold, Prince Brad says to put a price on his head. Prince Brad casts a spell to get the Master Hench, but he sneezes while doing it, so instead Atreia and Gamebridge are combined. Beams of light appear around the city, and various parts of Atreia start appearing around town. The WaoWao girl, Mary makes an announcement from downtown, saying that the streets and buildings are covered with "icky stuff". All across town, Hench are terrorizing the citizens, and a green fog is preventing anyone from leaving town or calling or receiving phone calls. At Prince Brad's castle, which is now in the human world, Prince Brad commands the Dark Elves to find the Master Hench. Back at the lab, Dr. Joeb enthuses that his experiment was a success. The rest of the group tells him that the world can't stay like this, and that everything needs to go back to normal. The group and Pachi go into town to scope the damage while Dr. Joeb tries to undo the portal.
Ditt fights Wagstuff.
In town, the citizens are being terrorized by a duck like Hench, Wagstuff. Wagstuff is running around screaming and crashing into walls. Cheek recognizes him and says that he doesn't normally act like this. Penril tries to talk to him, but he charges towards her. Then, Jin swoops in and saves her. Jin tries to kick the creature in the head, but gets knocked back. Pachi tells Ditt that he needs to "go into action mode", but Ditt tells him that Cheek is the expert. Before they can react, Wagstuff starts chasing them. They turn a corner, but it's a dead end. It looks like they're doomed, but a Dr. Joeb themed bomb falls from the sky. The bomb is a fake, however, and a scroll pops out of it. In it, Dr. Joeb reveals he has invented a new device to capture and mix Hench. The scroll instead blows up, and Dr. Joeb rises up out of a manhole. Dr. Joeb reveals the Card Shuffler, and first gives it to Cheek. Cheek, however, can't get it to work. Dr. Joeb pulls out a testing device, and concludes that Cheek isn't the right one, for only the Mix Master can use the Card Shuffler. Wagstuff starts chasing the group again, and they split up. Wagstuff crashes into some vines and gets tangled up. The group wonders why he's acting like this, and Ditt notices he keeps grabbing at his throat. Ditt and Pachi decide to look inside his throat, but get knocked back. Wagstuff breaks free and crashes into Dr. Joeb, launching his testing device into the air. It conveniently lands on Ditt, who passes the test. Ditt decides to embrace his destiny, wields the Card Shuffler, and plays Beasco. Somewhere else in town, Poy notices her wand is glowing; her wand only glows when the Mix Master is nearby, so she starts looking for him. She finds Ditt, and decides that he is the Mix Master. Beasco uses Direct Strike on Wagstuff, and it shocks him. Beasco is too weak, however, and Wagstuff knocks him away. Cheek tells Ditt he needs to mix Beasco with another Hench, so Ditt plays Bugmat, and combines them to create Bookworm. Bookworm uses thread to tie up Wagstuff so Pachi can crawl inside and help him out. Pachi discovers his mouth is full of garbage, so the group helps Pachi pull all of it out of his throat. Wagstuff, who can now speak normally, thanks Ditt for helping him and they become friends. Wagstuff enters Ditt's Card Shuffler, and Ditt's friends congratulate him. Ditt says he just got lucky, but Poy tells him that he is the Mix Master. Ditt is still skeptical, but Poy is sure of it. Poy tells him as his first loyal subject, she'll have to stay at his house with him. Pachi says he'll stay with Ditt too and "play all his video games", and everyone laughs.
